School Supplies for Children in Abadeh

 

Yarra Foundation were informed of  two families living in Abadeh, a city near Shiraz, southwest of Iran who were struggling financially to send their children to school.

 

The first family consisted of a father who was a construction labourer and a mother who bakes bread at home to sell in markets, and two children.The children were attending grades 4 and 8 at the local school; however, their parents were not able to afford the required school supplies. 

 

The second family were fatherless, the father died in an industrial factory accident couple of years ago. The mother was struggling to support her twin seven year old daughters.
 
Yarra Foundation has supported both of these families with the provision of school supplies for one year.
