We have local contacts in Iran working with disadvantaged children. With their help we funded a range of projects that are aligned with our goals. Based on our group's priorities we assigned funds to these projects. One of our team members is responsible for each project and makes sure the money is spending the way all executive committee members have agreed upon.

PROJECTS

Samaneh
The aim of this project is to provide textbook, stationery and school bags for five female students in Malek Ashtar High School. This school is located in the remote village of Darbid in the western province of Kermanshah.

The aim of this project is to provide textbook, stationery and school bags for five female students in Malek Ashtar High School. This school is located in the remote village of Darbid in the western province of Kermanshah.

The aim of this project is to provide uniforms for 11 students (seven female and four male) in Malek Ashtar High School. This school is located in the remote village of Darbid in the western province of Kermanshah.

Sheikh choopan's Library
Yarra foundation is planning to set up a library for a rural village in the province of Kordestan, near the Kurdish cities of Saghez and Baneh.

Most of the residents of the small village of Mahmoodabad, close to Tehran, are Afghans who live in extreme poverty. Their main income is from brick making and their children are often victims of child labour.
