Australian Fairy Tale Society (AFTS) Conference

 

Yarra Foundation attended Australian Fairy Tale Society (AFTS) annual conference and presented a story linking the conference theme and the charitable activities of Yarra on June 2016. The conference was for Fairy Tale lovers who either presented a story/storytelling performance or enjoyed others works. We also had a display table to introduce Yarra Foundation to the conference attendees and promote Persian hand-made products to raise fund for Yarra’s projects. It was not just a great experience being exposed to a society of art-minded people, but also a great financial success as we could raise AUD 221 from selling the hand-made items.

We would like to thank Dr.Belinda Cardelone, former committee member of AFTS, for giving us the opportunity to present in the conference. Special thanks must go to Louisa John-Krol vice president of AFST, for all the efforts she put into preparing Yarra’s attendance in the conference.
