Laboratory kits for kids

 

Homail village is a remote village located in western Iran.  It contains the only local primary school which provides education for children from Homail as well as several neighbouring villages.  The school recently approached the Yarra Foundation for support of two projects, provision of a science kit to support science classes and transportation assistance three disadvantaged children who were unable to afford the transportation costs from their village to the school.

Yarra was able to raise the funds for these requests. The provided science kit now allows the schools teachers to provide their students the same educational opportunities as those in larger centres.
