Train the traininer courses by Jahad-Elmi 

 

Funding a team of university students to teach disadvantaged school children

 

Jahad-Elmi is a student volunteer group based at Isfahan University of Technology. This group provides eight week courses to disadvantaged school students as well as train-the-trainer courses for educators of disadvantaged students. The courses are run during university break and aim to support students in their core subjects. The train-the-trainer courses support teachers’ needs across various subjects including mathematics, science and literature.

 

With class sizes of 10 to 15 students, this project aims to fund the course in four different schools, reaching about 100 students and their teachers. The schools are located in Andika, in the north east of the Khuzestan province. Funds raised will contribute towards transport, food, stationery supplies and books.
