Education funds for children of a family in slum, Isfahan

Yarra Foundation became aware of this poor family of four (parents plus two young children)living in the slum area of the city of Isfahan when they were brought into our attention. On investigation we found that they could not afford any accommodation and where sheltering in a mosque.
The parents were taking care of everyday chores in the mosque in return for shelter plus a very low income which was hardly enough to cover basic life expenses let alone children's education costs. As a result, the children, a brother and sister,could not attend school and had to spend their whole time at home.

Yarra Foundation has helped to provide funding to school supplies and uniforms for the children.
